Woke up to fridge not working – Another bad smell!Decided we needed to be at a site with electric so travelled to Fusetta (Lisa was here for a week earlier on this year with her friend Suzy) Lovely little town.
Early morning walk/jog around marina.Back for breakfast then walked into Faro ,went to local market for provisions.Early afternoon drove to Olhao for our overnight stop in another free camping spot.
Drove to Caveiro but found it impossible to park.Town clearly against Motorhomes-No parking signs everywhere!Decided to drive towards Albufuria.Parked at Arrifes beach and walked along the cliffs.Drove onto Faro where we parked in the centre car park for free.
Breakfast outside and then prepared van to leave site.Heraded for free car park in Alvor and then walked to pick up point for our boat trip.Great trip visiting the caves and travelling along the coast on a speedboat.Decided to stay another night at the free parking.
Walked into Alvor ,cloudy day but OK for sightseeing. Called a motorhome repair guy out to look at battery problem and step plus check out why fridge was not working on gas.Fuse was cause of problem with step but advised wait until we got back to the UK to get fridge checked out and batteries replaced
Drove to area where lovely beaches are , Prai Camilo.Walked along cliffs to stunning headland Ponte De Piadade.Drove to Alvor and checked into Camping Dourada.Sat outside enjoying the afternoon sun when a gigantic motorhome pulled up beside us. Lisa not happy so had to move to a better spot!
Walked over to the Fort ,weather not the best so back in van and headed to Lagos.Free overnight stop by the beach and Marina
Packed up van and for our drive to Odeiexe.Noticed the back tyre was flat-Puncture!!Asked at reception and he recommended a local garage in town.Pumped up tyre and drove there.Great service they took the wheel off , found the screw that had caused the slow puncture,repaired it and put wheel back on.Amazingly only charged us 5 euros!Spent a couple of hours in Odeiexe and then went onto Sagres and parked near the lighthouse

Another fabulous morning , late breakfast and then walked to the beach.Another lovely chilled out day followed by Mojitos as the sun went down.Could get use to this.
