Sad to be leaving Fusetta today.Drove to Seville and parked at the Marina Puerto Gelves.Had spot right besides the river.Got the bus into Seville for the evening and walked around the central historical area.Amazing cathedral.Ate in a Tapas bar and somehow managed to find a bus back to the marina
Our last full day in Fusetta (10 nights total) the longest we have stayed anywhere.Will definately go back again as its a lovely town in a beautiful area.We went to the market and got some lovely sirloin steaks from the butcher.Had a drink at the beach bar ,wind picked up again so went back to the van and barbecued the steaks
Woke up to a beautiful sunny morning.Thought we would get a taxi boat to the Island but nonre running today.Sat and had a coffee and noticed some people talking to a fisherman. Went over and he agreed to take all of us over to the island (2 trips) He could not speak any english and we found out later that the people in the first boat had agreed one way trip! This meant at we needed to walk to the other end of the Island to get the ferry and then train back to Fusetta.
Spent the morning at campsite before cycling along the coast towards Olhao.Several dead end roads and many barking dogs encountered.Bought some more fresh fish and cooked that evening.
Got the train into Vila Real de Santa Antonio.Really nice town. Got the ferry across the river into Spain,very windy lots of shops shut.Disapointing lunch food took a long time to arrive and was luke warm. All in all not one of our best days .Although the sunset wasnt bad
Went to the local beach but quite windy today so went back and sat by van. Had lunch at the Fish Restaurant.
Got up early as we were cycling to the Island beach today (there and back)Took picnic and chilled out for the day.
Went to the local market in Fusetta in the morning ,bought some fish (Dorado) for tonights meal.Afternoon on the beach then lovely evening meal with the fish we bought earlier
Cycled to Pedro Del Rey and walked out to the Island beach Praia Do Barril.In the afternoon it was cloudy so came off beach and cycled to nSanta Luzia and then onto Tarifa.Caught the train back with our bikes ,struggle to get them on/off the train.
Caught up with washing in the morning then headed off on the bike along the coast then back for drinks on the beach
